SOLES believes that a strong sense of self worth and belonging (to the natural and human world) are essential elements in fostering mental well-being and agency to bring about positive social and environmental change. SOLES was founded in 2015 to cultivate that self-actualization for our region’s youth using the power of positive mentorship, leadership development, personal challenge, immersion in wild places, and strong peer-to-peer relationships.
